Smoke Test Sent

In electronics the "Smoke Test" is when you plug in the newly assembled piece of electronics you just build. If it starts smoking, you failed the test.
For Backerkit, a smoke test is where they send out the survey to a small number of backers to see if there are any problems before we send it out to everyone. The smoke test was sent.
Hopefully the results will not catch fire and the general survey will go out tomorrow.

Yes, I have the comic in my hands ready to validate it and ship it out to everyone. But I'm still waiting on three people to work out there payment method, (you know who you are) before I can send the surveys.

I want to thank all 90 of my backers for supporting this project. We reached our goal. I would now like to encourage everyone to check that their payment method is current. Backerkit asks that I hold in sending out the surveys until all the payments have been processed, and that can drag on for up to two weeks.
Let's see if we can get it done sooner. The comics needs to fulfill this Kickstarter will be physically in my hands in three days time. I stand ready to fulfill your orders as soon as we can ensure that payment is good.
The Printer Has Shipped the Comics

I have been thinking a lot about how I wanted to position myself as a creator of comic books. In looking around the landscape, I feel the quality of artwork is often neglected in the field of comic books. From Marvel and DC right on down to an indie creator posting a first time offering, the level of artwork is not what I would have expected of a comic book back when I was a kid.
As you can tell from the comics I offer, that will not be the case with any comic book that comics with a Pocket Jacks logo. My proposition wager to you is that you can take any issue that bears my logo into a comic book store and compare it to any offering you find there and expect to feel good about your purchase.
Secondly, I feel most other crowd funding creators observe fairly long fulfillment times. Six to eight months seems to be the norm. I've decided that I want to do better. You can expect all projects I post to have a fulfillment target of 100% fulfillment in six to eight weeks.
Third, and most challenging, will be frequency of offerings. I know many people have been waiting a long time for White Lily #3, and I want to remedy that. I want to be bringing you quality comic books with much greater frequency than any other creator on this platform. Before the end of this year, I expect to offer White Lily #3 and #4 as well as Divinity Factory #2.
Those three points represents my companies unique selling proposition: exceptional artwork, fulfilled quickly, with frequent project followups. It's a combination that will be unique to the crowd funded comic industry.
